On snow days, if you have an important occasion (funeral, wedding, medical treatment, etc.,) which requires you to leave at a certain time of the day, please notify the Public Works so we can make sure the roadway is clear.

Snow Removal from Sidewalks Print E-mail
The depositing of snow into the street is prohibited.

Also, regarding the removal of snow and ice from sidewalks and business districts - it is the responsibility of the owner or tenant to remove snow and ice from sidewalks within 2 business hours after the snow or ice ceases to fall. In residential districts the owner or tenant of the building shall, within four daylight hours after the snow or ice ceases to fall, remove said snow or ice from the sidewalk . . . subject to fines.
